Turkey Treat Jar

Check out this cute turkey, made from a baby food jar.

I can't take credit for it.  Trevor made it at his Book Club.  But I thought it was too cute and easy not to share.  All you have to do is paint the lid of a baby food jar brown, and then add colorful feathers cut from copy paper, googly eyes, and a copy paper beak and wattle.  The final step was filling it with fall-colored M&Ms and candy corn.

Trevor is out of school all next week and we have tons of Christmas crafting planned.  I'm not sure where I'm going to squeeze in the actual paid work that I'm supposed to be doing, which is why I'll be taking a week-long break from blogging.  In the meantime, here are some Thanksgiving crafts I've shared in past years:

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, everyone!  I'll be back here December 2.

  7. I just adore all these fun turkeys. You always have the cutest projects.

By the way, I pinned the money toilet roll thingy you made three weeks ago and it now has been repinned 315 times and has 62 likes. Every time I sign into my Pinterest account, I have dozens more hits on that one pin. I'm telling you, that one was a big hit! You must be getting some good blog traffic. :)
