I can't take credit for it. Trevor made it at his Book Club. But I thought it was too cute and easy not to share. All you have to do is paint the lid of a baby food jar brown, and then add colorful feathers cut from copy paper, googly eyes, and a copy paper beak and wattle. The final step was filling it with fall-colored M&Ms and candy corn.
Trevor is out of school all next week and we have tons of Christmas crafting planned. I'm not sure where I'm going to squeeze in the actual paid work that I'm supposed to be doing, which is why I'll be taking a week-long break from blogging.
