Scrap-Related Podcasts

I really enjoy listening to podcasts while I clean or do other mundane tasks.  My favorites, not surprisingly, are scrap-related podcasts.

This is my absolute favorite podcast.  Each week, a panel of 2 or 3 guests join hostess Noell Hyman and producer Izzy Hyman to discuss all sorts of topics related to scrapbooking.  The guests frequently include the biggest movers and shakers in the industry.  The almost 200 episodes cover a huge variety of topics.

I don't do digital scrapbooking, never have done digital scrapbooking, and never plan to do digital scrapbooking, yet I never miss an episode of The Digi Show.  I am fascinated with learning more about the one part of the scrapbooking world that is completely foreign to me. The regulars (Steph and her cohosts Katie Nelson and Peppermint Granberg) have such a wonderful rapport and the guests always add a lot.

Steph from The Digi Show runs a second podcast, Capturing Magic, which is about Disney scrapping and memory keeping.  Sometimes the topic doesn't appeal to me (for example, I don't do cell phone photography at Disney parks... or anywhere else, for that matter), so I skip it, but I do enjoy this podcast when the topic is relevant to me.

My most recent addition to my podcast list is Scrap Owl.  It is a new podcast with only a dozen episodes but I've enjoyed listening to it and look forward to seeing how it develops and what direction hostess Renee Robbins takes it.

......

There are a few other scrap-related podcasts that I listen to every once in a while if the topic really catches my eye.  I'm always on the lookout for more!  Do you have any scrap-related podcasts to recommend?  I'd love to check them out!

  3. I don't ever listen to podcasts.... to be honest I have absolutely no idea where I would fit them into my schedule! That said, I've at least heard of the first two and maybe I should check them out sometime :)

  5. Okay, something about this post stuck with me.... and I've been meaning to come back and tell you! I'm totally listening to podcasts now that you got me thinking of them. I wasn't sure where I could fit them in, then one day recently it hit me. DUH! I'm in the car commuting for a total of 90 minutes a day (45 minutes each way). These are PERFECT for my commute!! So now I'm back to pick up the ones you mentioned. I'll be blogging about it soon myself.... THANK YOU!! :)

    1. Perfect! I know a lot of people listen while driving. Others while exercising, or in my case, while cleaning or folding laundry. Looking forward to hearing which podcasts you're enjoying!
