I tasted cherry, strawberry and maybe some citrus. Trevor said strawberry for sure. Mom agreed that there was berry, but also tasted some pineapple. Strawberry lemonade? Cherry limeade? It definitely tasted like a blend. We all rated it an 8.
We had to wait until Easter morning for Peeps to reveal the answer.... fruit punch! Yep. That's exactly how it tasted.
I love Peeps ... but honestly ... was afraid to try these! LOL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know where to find the answer, but the Easter bunny brought some for Alexis. We were confused as to what they tasted like, but I didn't like them. She did though. I'm glad that you found the answer!
ReplyDeleteIt was posted on the Peeps Facebook page. The chicks and bunnies were different flavors. The chicks were fruit punch and the bunnies were green apple.
DeleteWe don't get them here. But they look sooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteP/s: I think you need to be a little more adventurous with your food. Go for an entirely new-to-you cuisine....Middle Eastern or something.
It's not that easy to identify, and then find, totally new-to-me foods. I'm trying though! As for Middle Eastern, Steve's mom is Lebanese, so that's a cuisine I've had often. And Afghan and Jewish food as part of my 40th birthday challenge. Expect a mix of adventurous and less-adventurous foods throughout my challenge. :)
DeleteI've never seen or heard of mystery peeps. But as neither Cory nor I like the regular peeps, we probably wouldn't have been game. Your layout is very cute though and it's always fun to try a "mystery" item!
