While there are a lot of destinations left on my United States bucket list, there are plenty of places outside of the US I'd still like to visit. Topping the list: more of Canada. I absolutely love Canada - the people, the culture, and the natural beauty. It's English-speaking, close to home (relatively speaking), and it's a huge place with tons to see and do.
Two years ago, I wrote about where I've been in Canada and specific places I'd still like to go. Since then, we've traveled to St. John, New Brunswick. Despite a bumpy start (literally- our bus went into a ditch), we had a wonderful time exploring the area. I've updated the map below to add New Brunswick to the provinces I've visited.
I haven't been to any new-to-me countries since making my Visited Countries Map or my Alphabetical List of Countries Visited in 2024, but I have added a few places to the countries I'd really like to visit in the future. Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines were already on my list. I've recently added Romania, Lithuania, and Latvia.
And, of course, there are a lot of countries I've visited that I'd like to explore further. I'd happily return to any of the countries we visited during our 2024 trip to Europe, particularly Netherlands, Germany, Norway, and Sweden. I'd love to see more of France, Spain, and Italy, all places we visited during our 2019 trip.
There are many other places in the world that I will happily visit if I ever get the opportunity. Is there somewhere I should go that I haven't mentioned? Let me know in the comments!
