A robber minifig, from the 2013 Lego Advent calendar. But instead of holding a coffee cup, Trevor will be holding his trick-or-treat pumpkin. If I had a million guesses, I never would have come up with that. But it actually seems pretty easy. Trevor owns black pants and a knit hat, so all I need to do is make a striped shirt, a mask, and a red bandana, then add a belt and some rope. He's unsure whether he wants yellow skin or not. I'm going to insist on the mustache though.
Here's a look back at Trevor's costumes from 2006-2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. I love looking back at them. He's had a lot of fun ideas over the years.
LOVE it ... can't wait to see it!!!!!!!!!!!ReplyDelete
Yes...definitely, he NEEDS the mustache! He's gonna look so cute! Can't wait to see pictures!ReplyDelete
OMGosh, how funny!! :) There was a Lego girl last year at the club we went to. It was an amazing costume, but I wondered how comfortable she was. She won the contest easily! Hers was a painted box body, with the rounded yellow head (there is a photo of her on my FB, in the Halloween 2013 album). I can't wait to see how Trevor's turns out!! :) Are you and Steve going to dress up?ReplyDelete
Looking back on your past Halloween layouts, I have to say my favorite is the blue crayon. It is absolutely ADORABLE!!! And Trevor just looks super sweet in those pictures!! I know I say this every year, but I really love that you guys always dress up to coordinate ... especially Steve!!! What a great sport!! :)
Great idea for a costume and I agree: it should be fairly easy. I made Cory a mask last year as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and it was pretty fast to do. I used a craft foam sheet for the mask then added on fabric for ties. I sewed the fabric ties to the foam mask but could have just stapled it on. I need to blog his costume from last year. I don't know if you can see the mask from this link, but the mask is on my FB page under Halloween 2013. https://www.facebook.com/izzy.b.anderson/media_set?set=a.688290504522239.1073741827.100000238887336&type=3ReplyDelete

Cindy, I can't wait to see his costume and him in it. I absolutely LOVED looking back on all of his Halloween costumes over the years. My favorite part is that you and your hubby dressed up along with him! So fabulous!!!!!ReplyDelete
I totally think he needs yellow skin! I can't wait to see the finished costume. He's going to look awesome.ReplyDelete
