Trevor & Grandma

I had so much fun with the Family Movie Night layout that I put together another Young-Me-Now-Me page.  I started with a picture of Trevor, age 5 months, playing with my mom.  She'd put him and his toys in the laundry basket and he was grinning from ear to ear.  I asked Trevor if he wanted to take a picture just like it and he was enthusiastic.  He asked my mom to wear the same Disney sweatshirt during her next visit, then he emptied the laundry basket, filled it with stuffed animals and climbed in.

I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays.  I love the simplicity.  And I love that I have a page about the special relationship that my mom and Trevor share.

  2. What a fun idea!! It reminds me of the photos going around of grown children going back and recreating pictures from when they were kids. SO cool! Great layout.

  3. I LOVE that she still had the same sweatshirt and you still have the same laundry basket. It's so neat that you were able to recreate that photo. Fabulous!

  4. Your son is such a good sport when it comes to the photo-ops! I guess because he's still young! My kids, especially my daughter, are so not cooperative!
Did you make a copy of the layout for your mom?

  7. Cindy, Yes. The temperature was that drastically different on those days. If it was too cold we would've probably thrown turtleneck under her costume top. Thanks for the comment!
