UPDATE: Following a reader comment, I consulted with a wildlife expert and learned that bread is neither safe nor nutritious for birds. I apologize for this. I didn't know. If I can find a safe way to do a similar craft, I will post it here.

ReplyDeleteIs it okay to use the bread? I’ve heard before that it may not be good for them. We have a lot of squirrels too. I love the idea and want to try it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I wasn't sure, so I consulted with a wildlife expert. I learned that bread is usually not safe for birds and is not nutritious for them. I am very sorry for having put a craft out there that is not beneficial to wildlife. Now I know.
