Our Latest Jewelry Attempts: A Beaded Bracelet and Wire-Wrapped Earrings

Today is Trevor's last day of school. As is his tradition, Trevor made a beaded bracelet as an end-of-the-year gift for his 4th grade teacher. As is my tradition, I've done a terrible job photographing the bracelet. I think jewelry has got to be one of the hardest things to photograph ever. Major props to those who do it so well.

You know what's even harder to photograph than a beaded bracelet? Faceted earrings. That's what I made while Trevor was making the bracelet.

It was my first attempt at wire-wrapping. As with most things, wire-wrapping is more difficult than it seems. Still, I'm happy with how they turned out.
